Attorney William R. Scott
Born November 3, 1950, in Evergreen Park Illinois, Bill is the oldest of 6 children of Howard and Carolee Scott. His father died when Bill was just 14 years old, an event that still shapes his life today.
Mr. Scott attended the University of Illinois in Champaign from 1968-75, obtaining a BA in Economics in 1972 and a law degree in 1975. In August 1975 Bill married his better half, Kathryn Kutz, and moved to Rantoul where they continue to live.
Bill began working for Allen & Korkowski & Associates. in August 1975 and bought into the firm in 1978.
He is the proud father of three daughters, Kristi, Lyndsey and Rachel, and five grandchildren.
His practice is devoted to estate planning, estate work, trusts, real estate transactions, business transactions, and related matters.
Bills involvement in civic matters have included Christian Life Church Executive Board member for 28 years; Rantoul Township High School Board member for 13 years; past President of Chamber of Commerce; Community Service Center of Northern Champaign County; Community Foundation of Rantoul and Jesus is the Way Prison Ministry.
He is an avid golfer, lives and dies with the Cubs, Bears and Illinois Basketball. His passion is teaching from the Bible.
