The Benton Central FFA Chapter was officially chartered in the summer of 1966 with the consolidation of the Montmorenci and Otterbein FFA Chapters. Two years later Boswell, Fowler and Oxford Chapters became a part of the Benton Central Chapter. Four Advisors and over 200 members helped the chapter to a strong beginning. Since that time Benton Central has been known for excellence in agriculture education and the development of outstanding agricultural leaders.
