About

BRIAN OWENS - Auctioneer Brian was born and raised in South Eastern Indiana near Greensburg in Decatur County. He is the youngest of the three boys. Growing up Brian can remember how much he enjoyed being around the farm and family owned auction business. His family raised hogs and cattle and produced corn, soybeans and occasionally wheat. As Brian grew, so did his passion for the auction business. His father, Kenny, acquired his auction license in 1959 and by the late 1970’s he established Owens Auction Service with the help of his wife Judy. Brian can remember helping his father prep for auctions and his first time working the ring. Brian graduated high school in 1993 and attended Reppert Auction School that summer and aquired his auction license later that year. For the next three years he worked at a local equipment dealer, farmed, and continued auctioneering. Since the fall of 1996 he has been working automobile auctions and continues to help when needed on the farm. In February of 2004, Brian formed Owens Auction Service, Inc. and continues to own and operate it specializing in farm equipment, personal property and land auctions. Between Brian and his wife Christin, they have four children, Haylee, Brayton, Haiden, and Raegan. Brian is an active member of his Christian church and in his leisure time he likes to hunt, fish, and play golf. Brian also enjoys donating his time for charitable auctions in his community and surrounding areas. Brian’s passion and life experience in farming and auctions sets him apart. He is exceptional in cultivating and maintaining great relationships with both seller, and buyer. Brian is excited for the opportunity to work with LandProz and you in the future.
