About

Verhaeghe Farms Our family tells a story. Mind you we all work full - times jobs or attend college full-time. To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the Heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck up which is planted. Ecclesiastes 3 1-2 1st Day of Harvest Our deep respect for the dirt, and the seed we plant to finally see the end result as a family farm. Even though we raise livestock (sows/ gilts 30), ewes (125), cows (15). It’s about the beliefs & values passed down thru the generations. Ensuring things are left better for those yet to come; it’s all about a Legacy. Jason’s dad (Leon) Grandpa Hank Verhaeghe & Dawn’s Grandpa Ed Glon / Uncle Kenny didn’t tell us how to live or have a passion for farming. Each one lived & each generation watched the previous generation. They learned from them. Being on a farm is a school of patience. You can’t hurry the crops. When you think of 4th & 5th generation with our kids currently. That is something that don’t always happen in a family farm. We pray for a safe & memorable Harvest for our Verhaeghe Family Farm.
