In 1931, a group of seventy-five farmers in Wabash County, Indiana joined together to form their own financial cooperative. This group of leaders’​ simple vision was to provide savings and dependable loan programs, particularly to farmers, in the area. Today, Beacon has over $1.2 billion in assets, has grown to include 30 office locations, and serves over 43,000 members located throughout Indiana and reaching across all 50 states.
